The US Marine Corps Asian Pacific American Professionals Present:

As part of an effort to involve the broader Defense community and industry, the US Marine Corps Asian Pacific Professionals (USMC APAP) present, as part of its summit, the Defense ALL STARS (Asian Pacific American Leadership, Learning for Strategy, Talent Advancement, and Reimagining Success).

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The Defense ALL STARS Leadership Training Program:

  • Synergizes for Success. Integrates innovative insights, strategies, and talents of APAs in defense and our supporters for the collective success of our country’s mission.

  • Leverages APA Uniqueness. Leverages APA backgrounds and experiences as a competitive advantage in service of freedom and safety.

The Purple Star
The term “Purple Suit” represents an organization that utilizes resources from all military service branches and civilian agencies. PURPOSE + PEOPLE = PURPLE, AsianUpward’s trademarked tagline, crafts a call to action to create change. The embedded “A” in the star both connotes APAs, as well as “ALL STARS” all-in-one shining symbol.

Power Words provides practical tools and frameworks for APAs to maximize and innovate cross-culturally to build more influence, leadership, and collaborative skills in the workplace. Every professional and leader requires the effective deployment of language toward peak performance. Entire industries such as marketing and sales generate trillions from thoughtful words. Diplomats transform war to trade with the right words. You can too! This course elevates your ability to do so.
