ASIANUPWARD EXECUTIVE MASTERMIND (AEM) GROUP

The AsianUpward Executive Mastermind (AEM) Groups feature opportunities to share key insights, proven and next practices, plus specific case studies—culminating in stronger Asian Pacific American (APA) executives and prospective board members. This mastermind group will ultimately create a series of playbooks with these crowdsourced and co-created insights.  Commit to mandatory attendance, as executives must attend all sessions (4-8 sessions per year). One session can be missed. This builds trust and engagement in this AEM network.

The AsianUpward Executive Mastermind Group stands out in the following ways:

  1. Co-Creates a “playbook” of top insights, best and next practices, and detailed case studies customized for APA executives and board members
  2. Focuses strategically on APA executives, including challenges and opportunities tailored for this ethnic population and our allies
  3. Forges a safe, confidential, and trusted shared space for APA executives
  4. Generates an executive-level network that values diversity and inclusion, with APAs as the central focus
  5. Develops more effective executives with leadership and sponsorship skills
  6. Provides real-time, real-life, practical shared learning in a collaborative environment
  7. Fosters growth from new, diverse perspectives and high-quality feedback
  8. Furnishes expanded resources from exceptional organizations and executives
  9. Encourages even larger global, “big picture” thinking
  10. Increases well-being, mentally, emotionally, and physically

THE ASIAN360 STUDY

The Asian360 Study measures perspectives of Asian Pacific Americans (APAs) in comparison to other ethnic Americans regarding key characteristics. The cross-ethnic responses from the study will ultimately help APA professionals and the organizations that employ them. We invite individuals from diverse backgrounds to complete this survey to have a 360 perspective.

ALL A-BOARD EXECUTIVE

The AsianUpward All A-Board convenes Asian Pacific American (APA) executives from major organizations and matches them with corporate, for-profit Boards of Directors (BoD) and Advisory Boards (AB). This partnership co-creates board diversity, which correlates with higher returns for a higher calling. All A-Board stems from investments to drive true corporate social change at the Board level, courtesy of AsianUpward (an Elevate initiative).

All A-Board stands out in multiple ways to all stakeholders:

  1. Leadership Development. Executive board members strengthen their leadership skills, which benefits their value to their employers, boards on which they serve, and their careers and communities.
  2. Network & Partnership Growth. The partnership builds and strengthens relationships across organizational and individual networks.
  3. Strategic Synergies. Executive board members provide their strategic skill sets to multiple organizations, both for their current employer, the boards on which they serve, and the communities with whom they belong.
  4. Brand Credibility & Visibility. Organizations and individuals mutually benefit as it raises brand credibility and visibility at multiple levels.
  5. Increased Engagement. The increase in mutual engagement amongst individuals and organizations from this stretch opportunity will unlock value for executives and the organizations alike.
  6. Social Good. The broader social change and positive good underpin this entire project.
